Since our founding in Utah ten years ago, we’ve worked hard toward building and maintaining a stellar reputation as a leading construction company.
Our Story
Get to Know Us
The youngest of the six Moala Brothers, Simi Moala grew up with his eight siblings in the remote island village of Tu’anuku, Vava’u in the Kingdom of Tonga in Polynesia. It was there that work ethic, determination and attention to detail was cultivated through long hot hours working and developing the family farm. Selling their crop to sustain their family, the Moalas dreamed of using their skills and talent to better the life of their family.
From a rich culture dedicated to church and family, Simi made his way from Tonga to Philadelphia serving a church mission and eventually meeting his love, Allison. Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Family and Human Development, and a multi year professional rugby career, one thing that has been a common thread is Simi’s love and dedication to creating work that he’s proud of. Working in residential and commercial construction for the past seven years has allowed for the cultivation of skills in creating impeccable concrete flatwork.
The eldest brother stateside, Livai, established Moala Brothers Construction in Utah over ten years ago with much success. With an ever growing business, and rave reviews, Simi has worked alongside Livai on a number of concrete installations over the years.
With brothers in Tonga, New Zealand, Australia, Utah, Virginia and New York, the family business is now expanding from it’s roots in Syracuse, Utah to the East Coast.
Simi and his wife live in the village of Honeoye Falls, NY with their four children.
